About Us

Pelikan was established on 1991, with scope of activities Shipping, Forwarding, Customs, Logistics, Warehouse & Transport Agency. Since then, the company has been aiming at providing a complete service of full logistic chain with the highest possible quality for various import and export activities for its customers.

From the beginning Pelikan is the main shipping and forwarding agent of Durres Port (Main port of Albania) and has been a reference point for all foreign investors performing activities in our country, by assisting their projects.

Today the company Head Quartered in Durres employs more than 150 People and 300 vehicles (Trucks, Trailers, Cranes, Reach Stacker, MHE, Forklifts, Bobcats, Loaders, Etc)

Currently the Agency is ranked “Top Logistics” provider in Albania and in the Balkan region.

Pelikan is Number 1 in Albania for logistics operations with its fleet and 150.000 m2 Dry port, Container, Bulk & General Cargo Terminal.

Pelikan, by the name of the bird, symbolizes careful, safe, and smooth transport, as the Pelikan transports food with a beak for its birds. Customs

As a leading Customs Clearing Agents based in Durrës with more than two decades of experience, we stay updated with custom regulations and procedures. Thus, we can handle clearance of import and export consignments by sea, air, and road efficiently. Our customs clearing services include advising clients on preparing documents related to import and export, completing appeasement and examination procedures, and facilitating payments. Once the formalities with the customs department are completed, we deliver the consignments to the desired destination.

Shipping

Pelikan has its own dedicated staff for supervising the transportation of Special Cargo (projects and oversized cargo) to ensure the client always knows that cargo is in our care.

Shipping is made easy with a highly skilled professional team that is focused on safety and chooses optimal transportation to evaluate all the details of the cargo. The team is in compliance with international regulations such as SOLAS (Convention of the Safety of Life at Sea) and its amendments, in particular the IMO Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Securing (CSS Code). Warehouse & Transport Agency

Forwarding

We certified to provide sea freight services in Albania and is also licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission to transport ocean freight.
